Unfare

Privacy

Unfare is a hobby project. It is designed to collect as little personal data as possible.

The site stores some information in your browser, including saved journey comparison options and whether you have dismissed certain interface hints. That data stays in your own browser and is not sent to the server.

The server receives normal web request data needed to serve the site and respond to searches, including request paths, basic timing information, and proxy-related request metadata such as host and forwarded protocol for operational logging.

Searches you make, fare lookups, and page requests may therefore appear in server logs. Unfare is not intended for sensitive or personal use, and no guarantee is made about retention, accuracy, or confidentiality.

If you do not want local browser storage to persist, clear your browser storage for this site. If you do not want request activity logged by the operator of an Unfare instance, do not use that instance.
